About Us

Marty White began a residential design and construction company in 1997 after having consecutively managed the residential design divisions of two South Carolina architectural firms. His new firm quickly moved into upper-end new home design and construction, expanding focus throughout upstate South Carolina, and eventually expanded to the coast of South Carolina. Custom design and design/build projects remain the focus of the firm to this day.

Marty modified the business in 2007 by adding interior design, decorating and development to the list of services offered. The new practice combines all facets of homebuilding into an all-in-one home building company, providing home design, home building, interior design and interior decorating. Everything required in a true custom homebuilding project.

Our mission is simple ... "If you're our client, then it's all about you." We allow nothing to get in the way of that focus.

MartyWhite.net Homes offers residential design services to the general public and to other builders in the Columbia area. Our commitment to builders who refer design clients to us is that we will not compete against them for that client's project if the project is under bid. We remove ourselves from the list of potential builders in order to promote a professional and ethical relationship with these builders who choose to work with our design team. We do this in gratitude and to maintain a strong partnership with our supporting colleagues.

Our homebuilding services focus on a limited number of building contracts per year. This allows us to concentrate on our clients, and our very detail oriented design/build process. This process requires close involvement and interaction with our clients, and allows for the client to make every possible selection that they wish to make. A true 100% custom build that we call our Complete All-in-One Home Building Process, available only in the Greater Columbia area.

The Residences at Park and Bryan is our downtown Columbia, SC neighborhood project that we have proudly ventured into with the Property Team of Park Street Baptist Church. An infill housing project located within the City's historic preservation district, The Residences at Park and Bryan is found in Elmwood Park, one of the city's oldest and most proud neighborhoods, founded in 1905. The 26- parcel infill development is established for middle to upper end homes, all designed and built by MartyWhite.net Homes.
